Time to Travel

First a link from my sponsors. https://t-adbar.com/_wozu

Have you been stuck at home during this Covid crash? Have you been wanting to get out and explore the world again? Well maybe we can start with local travel first.

For me local travel is the northeast USA. I had a trip to Norway planned for August 2020. Because of Covid that trip was canceled. Got most of the invested money back but not all. That is the problem with travel and Covid. You are almost guaranteed to loose some of your money. But that is what we do. We want to travel so we plan for the big trips and if something happens we take the loss and move one.

Back to the local travel. The plan is to hit upstate New York. Do a road trip rather than take a plane. I have never really visited upstate New York even though I live in the neighboring state of Massachusetts. I have two weeks vacation time coming. with that much time I should be able to see a fair amount of territory.

Covid is still present and will cause some complications. Will I find a hotel room if everyone is only booking 50% occupancy? Will I find a place to eat along the way? Should I make reservations or just drive and look for a place along the way? I have been able to book two different hotels in upstate New York. Booked a room for 5 nights at each hotel. This will cut down on the changing from hotel to hotel. Do day trips from a centralized hotel location.

That is the plan. A month from today on August 22, 2020 I plan to hit the road on a very scenic trip of upstate New York. Let me know if you have any suggestions of places that I really need to see when I road trip upstate New York.

Happy Traveling. Stay safe and stay happy.
