Time to Retire!!!

Hello everyone,
It is time to retire! Well at least it is time for me to retire. I turned 67 a couple of weeks ago on July 7, 2022. For me that is a good enough age to retire. But why retire Paul. You are still healthy and you could work at your Assisted Living Facility for at least another ten years. Ten years from now I will be walking around with a walker and that will not be fun at all. Retire now while you can still walk.
July 29, 2022 is my last full shift at work. August 3, 2022 I am taking a 4000 mile road trip to Nova Scotia, Canada and Maine. That is why I want to retire. So I can enjoy retirement while I am healthy! I have a big bucket list for travels. After Canada I head way south to Mexico City. Two big trips within three months. Start of my big travel plans for a city boy from Boston.
When are you going to retire? What is your first travel trip after you retire?
